Stand near some water (the trainers are all near water) and use the new ability. Learning fishing adds a skill to your professions tab. There are several around the world, but the ones in Orgrimmar or Stormwind are easy to find. If you've never done it, visit a fishing trainer and learn the skill. He does it every week, first thing, all characters, and still has not got it to drop. Made it sweeter when I told him how I just left it there like the trash it is. He was super pissed because he wanted to do it by himself, he didn't want to go with me. I even went on an alt and got it to drop AGAIN. I kid you not, 4 other people got the mount to drop on their first tries that day, as he went through every one of his toons. We joked in guild chat about how it's 100% drop, as this guy takes his 14 90's (all classes on Ally side, few Horde on another server) to farm. I have never farmed for that mount, haven't even stepped foot in the raid since WotLK came out, but I gave it a shot. I find out it's because (they're joking) the friend had ashes drop for him. EVERY week this guy farms for ashes first thing.Ī few months ago I log into Vent and he's not talking to one of our mutual friends. While the content was new, it dropped twice for us and each time was won by some jackass who bounced not too long after and it ate him up. No idea why, but he's obsessed with that thing.
